The Chief Executive Officer, Sujimoto Construcion Ltd, Mr. Sijibomi Ogundele has commended Aliko Dangote on winning the ‘Forbes Africa Person Of The Year 2014′ saying the honour is well-deserved for his relentless contribution to the growth of the Nigerian economy and Africa as a whole.

He made the remarks at the the Forbes Africa Person Of The Year 2014 award which was recently held in Nairobi, Kenya, where he emphasized how Dangote’s industriousness, continuous innovation and dedicated social responsibility has exhibited extraordinary transformation .

Ogundele furthers: “This recognition comes by no surprise to me and other young entrepreneurs as we have watched and learned from him as a business leader and magnate in Nigeria. I can confidently say that Alhaji Dangote was a great motivation for me when moving back to Nigeria.

He added; “I had the opportunity of being present in Nairobi when he gave his inspirational acceptance speech encouraging young brave entrepreneurs. I was particularly moved by the fact that he mentioned the challenges faced in Africa and the need to stay united to overcome these challenges. I believe that this commendation is a challenge to us all to strive for greatness always. Come 2020, we shall see more ‘Dangotes’ in Nigeria”.

Other nominees were South Africa’s Public Protector; Thuli Madonsela, Nigerian author; Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie, Director-General of the Securities and Exchange Commission; Arunma Oteh and President of the African Development Bank; Donald Kaberuka.

Nigeria’s real estate magnate, Sijibomi Ogundele, has congratulated the president of Dangote Group, Alhaji Aliko Dangote as he emerged Forbes Africa Person of The Year.

Dangote, at the weekend, was conferred the award in Nairobi.

In a statement, the CEO and Lead Partner, Sujimoto Group of Companies, said: “This recognition comes by no surprise to me and other young entrepreneurs as we have watched and learned from him as a business leader and magnate in Nigeria.

“I can confidently say that Alhaji Dangote was a great motivation for me when moving back to Nigeria. His industriousness, continuous innovation and dedicated social responsibility haveexhibited extraordinary transformation in Africa and has inspired many Africans, including myself to provide exemplary service towards the growth and development in the country and continent at large.”

The 33-year-old billionaire said he believed that this commendation is a challenge to “us all to strive for greatness always. Come 2020, we shall see more ‘Dangotes’ in Nigeria.

Also congratulating Africa’s wealthiest business leader was the CEO of Haynes-Worth International Ltd, Joseph Imonikhe Afen, who said the award came as motivation for young Nigerians to toe the path of greatness.

Afen, who said he was exceptional motivated by Dangote’s speech charging young Africans to develop the continent, said the speech resonated with his company’s beliefs and quest to develop Africa.

Afen, in the coming weeks, will lead his company, Haynes-Worth International Ltd, to partner major stakeholders in Nigeria’s Oil and Gas industry to find lasting solutions to pipeline vandalism plaguing the country.

This development is coming as the company recently acquired sole and legitimate copyright ownership of the Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) tracker solution to the oil theft in the oil and gas industry in Africa.

Seasoned home buyers—people who described themselves as owning a "high-end luxury home"—approach the purchasing process much differently than those venturing into the high-end market for the first time, according to an online survey conducted by Realtor.com in March. These experienced high-end buyers focus less on extra space and glitzy home features and more are willing to pay over their budget to get a sound investment.

Generally, seasoned luxury buyers look at the long-term prospects for a property, says Christian Benites, associate real-estate broker with Town Residential in New York.

Still, seasoned buyers and first-time buyers agree on some things. They both cited views and chef kitchens as the most important luxury-home features, according to the survey. Seasoned folks saw luxury pools as third most important, whereas other buyers cited outdoor living areas.

First-time buyers ranked square footage and extra bedrooms, as well as smart home and eco-friendly features, higher than did current luxury homeowners. Of those currently planning to purchase a luxury home, 20% of seasoned buyers marked privacy as a top feature, compared with 13% of first-time buyers.

"They are not looking for golf simulators and children's playrooms and those kinds of amenities—they are looking for what the building has to offer and the reputation of the developer," Emily Beare, a real-estate agent with Core in New York City, says of seasoned luxury condo buyers. First-time buyers tend to prioritize finishes and layouts because they want to move in right away without having to gut the property or conduct a lengthy remodel, says Ms. Beare. "It's a totally different mentality from a seasoned buyer. The seasoned buyer is more interested in purchasing a trophy property in the right building at the right address," she says.

Of those planning to purchase a luxury home, 40% of current high-end homeowners said they would be willing to pay over budget, compared with only 29% of nonluxury homeowners, according to the Realtor.com data.
